An der Universit\u00e4t Sydney erscheint seit 1929 die Studentenzeitung Honi Soit<\/a>. Auf dem aktuellen Cover wurden achtzehn Vaginen gezeigt und im Editorial folgende Erkl\u00e4rung abgegeben:<\/p>\n

The vagina dialogues<\/a><\/p>\n

Eighteen vulvas. All belong to women of Sydney Uni. Why are they on the cover of Honi Soit?<\/p>\n

We are tired of society giving us a myriad of things to feel about our own bodies. We are tired of having to attach anxiety to our vaginas. We are tired of vaginas being either artificially sexualised (see: porn) or stigmatised (see: censorship and airbrushing). We are tired of being pressured to be sexual, and then being shamed for being sexual.<\/p>\n

The vaginas on the cover are not sexual. We are not always sexual. The vagina should and can be depicted in a non-sexual way \u2013 it\u2019s just another body part. \u201cLook at your hand, then look at your vagina,\u201d said one participant in the project. \u201cCan we really be so na\u00efve to believe our vaginas the dirtiest, sexiest parts of our body?\u201d …<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Erwartungsgem\u00e4\u00df wurde die Zeitung zensiert, auch in der pornobalk\u00f6sen Version<\/a>:<\/p>\n
